That's right!
Today I went and saw "Teeth" at the cinema.
I didn't not dislike it but some how as a man watching something that was comical but without whincing at the thought of what if couldn't quite go away.
I'm tired now after all that.
This morning I started a short course in preparing for my dissertation which I'm glad that I'm taking because it looks like it is going to offer a never ending amount of help to me in the long run. I was also pleased to see two people I've spoken to over their behaviour in the library in the past thrown out in less than an hour of it starting.
In the afternoon I checked out "Adulthood" at the cinema.
I enjoyed it.
After that, I got back here for a few minutes before heading over to work and manning the desk till closing. It was mostly quiet which suited me as it let me read my book, "Adrian Mole and the Weapons of Mass Destruction". This will be my second reading of the book after having read it many years ago. It is one of the funniest books I've ever read.
Don't you just hate it when you get up or go somewhere only for it to be a waste of your time? I do. And that's how I felt this morning after getting up and going to my IT course. I was expecting the assignment to be ready to start, it wasn't.
Getting that was the only real reason I'd went in this morning, God knows I can already do everything on this Introduction to IT course I decided to do. Anyway once I knew that I got up, left and went home to watch the end of "Hulk".
Something else I wasn't impressed with, the first has nothing on the new one.
So after that I went out to the cinema and caught "Prom Night" before it probably stops being shown before long.
I was surprised by it.
I was actually entertained by it despite reading that it had only been given one star in Empire and thinking I would have switched over to another channel if it had been on the tv.
Well after that I did my stint of work in the library before getting back here and doing some reading.
I've seen a vacancy else where in the University that I'll apply for. Pays more money! More responsibility. New challenge. Yes please.
Well, I went and hit the gym this morning. First time in over a week. Just did cardio. Felt good to have gone in my head but my body didn't seem to agree too much. Think I'm going again on Thursday.
And right now I've sent off a job application form. Fingers crossed I get called for interview.
Also, this coulld be my last summer before finding full time employment. That is kinda scary!
"The Happening" is released tomorrow. I will be going to see it at 11:30am.
I'm at work tonight.
...A tale of sex, theft, friendship and musical theatre
Is the title of the first novel that I have finished reading this year and I have to say that it was hilarious.
I've been hitting the gym the past couple of days as I try to get my fitness levels up again having been away for so long. I'm pleased that I've not wasted away completely. Shall go again tomorrow morning and have a break over the weekend.
